DESCRIPTION:Capture the beauty of Lake Glenville in a sketchbook-sized watercolor that you can take home—or even mail to a friend. In this beginner-friendly class\, you’ll learn the basics of travel sketching by creating a hand-painted postcard inspired by one of the area’s most scenic views. \n\n\n\nWe’ll combine simple pen sketching with loose watercolor techniques to create a charming keepsake that reflects the spirit of the mountains. Along the way\, you’ll learn how to simplify a landscape\, add expressive details\, and use a limited color palette for beautiful results. \n\n\n\nAnd you’ll have everything you need to keep sketching after class. Each student will receive a Viviva Mini Colorsheets watercolor set\, a water brush\, a waterproof marker\, and three additional blank postcards to take home and paint later. \n\n\n\nNo drawing or painting experience is necessary.
