Class Participation & studio Policies
Cancelation Policy
By registering for and participating in a class or workshop at Lake Glenville Art Studio, you agree to the following:
- Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled class.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class and no-shows are non-refundable.
- If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible. At our discretion and subject to availability, we may allow you to transfer to another class.
- If Lake Glenville Art Studio cancels a class due to instructor illness, severe weather, or insufficient enrollment, you may choose either a full refund or a transfer to another class.
Minimum Enrollment
Some classes require a minimum number of participants. If minimum enrollment is not met, we may reschedule or cancel the class. If this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible and may choose a full refund or transfer to another class.
Arrival
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before class begins to allow time to check in and get settled. Late arrivals may miss important instruction, and classes will begin on time out of consideration for all participants.
Photo & Video Release
Photographs or videos may be taken during classes and events. By participating, you grant Lake Glenville Art Studio permission to use images or recordings that include you and/or your artwork for the studio’s website, social media, advertising, and other promotional materials.
We will not identify you by name without your permission. If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please let the instructor know before class begins, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in art classes involves ordinary risks, including minor injuries from art tools, spills, stains, or allergic reactions to art materials. I voluntarily accept these risks and agree to follow all instructor directions and safety guidelines.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Lake Glenville Art, LLC, doing business as Lake Glenville Art Studio, its owners, instructors, employees, and volunteers from claims arising out of my voluntary participation in studio activities, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Participant Responsibility
Participants agree to:
- Treat instructors, staff, and fellow participants with courtesy and respect.
- Use studio materials and equipment responsibly.
- Follow instructor directions and studio safety guidelines.
- Respect the studio space and property.
Lake Glenville Art Studio reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe or significantly disruptive. Refunds will not be provided in these circumstances.
By completing your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Class Participation Agreement and Studio Policies.
