Travel Sketching—DIY Sketchbook
October 29 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Learn the basics of travel sketching while creating your own pocket-sized sketchbook to take wherever your adventures lead.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll make a simple binder-ring sketchbook, then put it to use by creating a tiny travel sketch.
We’ll explore simple ways to combine pen and watercolor, simplify what you see, and capture a place or moment without worrying about creating a perfect drawing. The goal is to make travel sketching approachable, portable, and fun.
You’ll also receive a sample sized Viviva Mini Colorsheets watercolor set, a water brush, a waterproof marker to take home with your sketchbook and continue sketching after class.
No drawing or painting experience is necessary. All supplies are provided, and you’ll leave with your handmade sketchbook, a finished mini travel sketch, and a portable set of supplies to keep creating.
